Pickle Patch Quilter Tuesday

Our grandson has come and gone. I kinda wanted that afternoon nap yesterday.lol. Ready to see him again. He left Moose Moose so I had to make a dash for the post office to get Moose on his way home. Hopefully it will not take long for him to arrive. And today is quilting day, well evening. Sure with that boat would float on my way so I could quilt and play with the grand instead of going to work. But until it does, I better get moving. Happy quilting.

What a wonderful time we are having with our grandson. I am not getting any quilting/sewing done but that's okay. I do miss sleeping in my bed as well. But it will be there for me soon.

Our grandson is coming to visit today!

We are very excited that our grandson is getting to spend the weekend with us. I can't wait for 4:30 to get here so I can go get him from his Nanny (great grandma). What have I been working on .... cutting up shirts and sewing them back, I have been hired to make 5 small quilts from dress shirts for a co-worker who lost her dad last year. Last weekend a friend and I went to a fellow Pickle Patch Quilter's home and got to play on her quilting machine. This could become a habit.... One Christmas gift down, well once I get it trimmed and the binding on. I must get ready for work, Have a blessed day and Happy sewing.. Angela

It's raining!!!! :)

It is finally raining. The electricity flashed a couple times but it is calming down now. At least my yorkies have stopped barking at the thunder. And it has cooled down from 107 to 79....yippee..... I hope everyone gets some of the rain, we sure needed it. Happy quilting, Angela
