It is Quilt Retreat time.

Quilt Retreat is almost here just one more day!!!!!! We are all so excited, just the fellowship with ladies we haven't seen since October. And of course learning new techniques. I'm so excited.....

Happy Valentine's Day

Well I have to tell ya this is one happy MiMi.. My daughter and the grand boys are here and it makes a heart glad. 

We finally had Christmas with our little guys and spent Sunday with Nanny, my mom, and Poppa Joe.  I got to spend some time with my son on the farm, he is a pretty awesome Uncle, and my daughter-in-love and I learned how to install a zipper in a makeup bag she made, gotta love sewing lessons.

Grandboys and Momma are coming!!!!!!!!

I received a call from my daughter and she and the babies, ages 2 and 4 years, are coming to visit.  This is one happy MiMi...... We will finially get to have Christmas with them.

I have completed one of the boys quilts and have the other I am about half way finished machine quilting.  Trimming and binding to do.

The cancer ribbon quilt is coming together.  We will have 24 blocks and set it 4 x 6.  We have a few to "fix" to get them them all the same size.  Yes 4 were mine to fix, I forgot to change my needle position before sewing on the borders.  So that too is on my list of things to complete this week.

Well the Bonnie Hunter Orca Bay Mystery is no longer a mystery, well maybe it is to me.  I have paper cut and some strips cut, patterns for quick sewing HST, but I still haven't really started.  I have to get busy on this just as soon as I finish my 5th Cancer Ribbon Block.

And to finish the grandsons quilts.  I think I am going to have to "shorten" those two.  Not liking the finish top size.  Maybe that is what I will do this week.  Have to make this priority!!!!!!!!
